It is on the oceanfront with two bars—one outside and one inside with seating in both areas. You can dine during breakfast, lunch or dinner with the soft roar of the ocean as background music. They make an awesome Lemon Drop Martini! Really good food too! The 2 women that own it are just as nice as can be and the rest of the staff is also! Especially as a local, we desperately needed an awesome place to go for drinks & food that was ocean front. This is just what we needed!!!! Looking forward to going there again soon!
About Thyme is an American bar/café that serves breakfast all day. In fact, they have a great breakfast special Monday through Thursday from 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. for two people for only $7.95. You can enjoy your breakfast with a mimosa or Bloody Mary if you are in the mood for an additional fee, and their cinnamon roll pancakes are delicious. MissR says you should just go as stated below:
“Just go! Went for breakfast this morning…..yummy pancakes and crisp bacon and the best coffee I have had in a while……very friendly help and cute little bars….eat inside or by the beach…..Will definitely go back tomorrow for happy hour……delicious!”

Some other great specials are fried pork chops served with lima beans, rice and corn bread fritters; teriyaki chicken stir fry; sautéed honey, orange chicken with broccoli and saffron rice; blackened rare ahi tuna tacos with wasabi slaw, jalapenos and an Asian sesame drizzle; steak-house style pork chops tossed in a hot cherry pepper vinegar sauce served with pan-fried potatoes or chicken cordon bleu with hollandaise sauce, rice and fresh sautéed vegetables. This restaurant is attached to the BLOCKCADE RUNNER Motel – thru the lobby and into a seated area or outdoor patio….and what a gem…..the two lady owners, Stephanie and Natasha are always around and the food is AMAZING……nice outdoor patio overlooks some wonderful “sea oats” and then the ocean…..what a nice view…..but the FOOD is what makes this place – everything we tried over 3 days was exceptional and pricing was very modest……make this a stop in the North Myrtle Beach area – you will not go wrong!”
