In April
2018, THEBlvd, located at 1410 Ocean
Boulevard, Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, had its grand opening. It is a three-story, oceanfront, live music
and entertainment complex which is the first of its kind on Ocean
Boulevard. The design elements of the
building complement the surroundings with glass exterior walls, outdoor seating
areas, and open-air breezeways that result in breathtaking ocean views.
The 55,000
square foot building, when fully occupied, will have retail, dining and
entertainment space. Some of the
spectacular views from the building are of Myrtle Beach’s most famous
landmarks—the 14th Avenue Pier, the Skywheel, and the boardwalk.
Ocean
Boulevard in downtown Myrtle Beach has long been the main attraction for
visitors to the Grand Strand, and it is currently undergoing some welcome new
changes. THEBlvd is the second new
addition to Ocean Boulevard. In 2017,
Rip Tydz, a beachfront restaurant boasting an open-air rooftop bar overlooking
the Atlantic Ocean, opened just a few blocks down from THEBlvd location. The Myrtle Beach Chamber of Commerce and
Visitor’s Bureau is excited about the new entertainment complex and stated:
“We could not be
happier to welcome this new Myrtle Beach venture. The Blvd will be a unique
addition to Myrtle Beach’s music and culinary scene. Live music, an array of
high-quality food, and the Myrtle Beach Boardwalk overlooking the Atlantic
Ocean is a winning combination for our visitors and residents alike. The new
corporate investment adds diversity to our traditional product mix and is a
major step in helping to revitalize the area.”
THEBlvd
already has some exciting new tenants such as:
Tin Roof Myrtle
Beach—A Nashville-based entertainment venue that occupies the entire third
floor of the new building, including an expansive oceanfront rooftop
patio. With the tagline “A Live Music
Joint”, it brings live music and DJ’s to separate stages nightly. It will
feature tasty food and the Tin Roof Bar Myrtle Beach, a full bar in a fun,
eclectic environment.
Burger Fi—This
national burger chain is on the ground floor of the entertainment complex. It features gourmet burgers with fresh
natural ingredients. Some of its more
popular entrees include the CEO burger featuring a pair of Wagyu and brisket-blend
patties topped with candied bacon-tomato jam, truffle aioli, and aged Swiss
cheese, and the Conflicted Burger with an Angus beef patty and a veggie patty,
all topped with American and white cheddar cheeses, lettuce, tomato, and
BurgerFi Sauce. It will also have a full
bar.
Banditos Myrtle Beach—This popular Mexican Restaurant is returning to its former location under a new roof. The new Banditos boasts a modern atmosphere along with a new menu. Serving Mexican classics like nachos, quesadillas, tacos, and burritos as well as salads, burgers, and sandwiches. Banditos also have an oceanfront bar, which serves beer, wine, tequila, margaritas, and cocktails.
Starbucks—This famous Seattle-based coffeehouse chain will be serving its freshly brewed coffee, cold brews, espressos, Frappuccinos, tea drinks and smoothies along with beautiful ocean views. They will also be serving pastries, yogurts, and other food items.
The Myrtle Beach Chamber of Commerce and Visitors Center is always working to provide more entertainment and quality fun for our visitors to the Grand Strand. We are sure there are more new additions to follow THEBlvd, the three-story, oceanfront entertainment complex on Ocean Boulevard. According to Patrick Marino, one of the developing partners:
“People are in Myrtle
Beach to enjoy the beach, and this building was designed to provide great food,
entertainment and shopping in a location that maximizes our greatest local
asset – a beautiful beach.”
