SummerFest at Barefoot Landing

Barefoot Landing, located at 4898 Hwy 17 South, North Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, is set along the Intracoastal Waterway and is a shopping and dining paradise.  It has a 27-acre lake to stroll around as you shop and dine in its more than 80 restaurants and shops.  Barefoot Landing is well known for its unique boutiques and national shops and restaurants, but did you know that it is also an entertainment center?

SummerFest started June 1st and lasts through September 2nd.  For locals living in Myrtle Beach condos and beach houses, as well as, visitors renting condos and beach houses along the Grand Strand (Pawleys Island, Litchfield, Murrells Inlet, Garden City, Surfside Beach, Myrtle Beach and North Myrtle Beach), there will be nightly entertainment all summer long starting at 7:00 p.m.

The entertainment will feature Nick Pike, a semi-finalist from “America’s Got Talent” and a favorite comedic entertainer at Barefoot Landing.  This is Nick’s ninth year and he will be making everyone laugh five nights a week.  There is also fun for the children as Larry Tanelli hosts Kid’s Karaoke, giving the kids an opportunity to demonstrate their singing talent on Friday nights.

The children will also enjoy meeting characters from their favorite movies and shows presented by The Character Company on Saturdays and Wednesdays.  Face painting will fascinate the children as they are transformed into their favorite character or animal, and there will be stilt walkers strolling throughout Barefoot Landing.

A variety of musical entertainment will delight your senses as you shop and dine at Barefoot Landing.  On various nights, John Mastroberti will be on the steel drums by TBonz, Don Colton will be on the saxophone by Bully’s, and the Shoreline Brass Band will be strolling throughout Barefoot Landing.

Every Monday night, there will be a fireworks show over the lake beginning at 9:30 which will thrill both young and old as they view the spectacular visual display.  Tourists renting North Myrtle Beach and Myrtle Beach condos and beach houses, as well as, locals living in Myrtle Beach real estate will be able to see the display along with the patrons at Barefoot Landing.  Be sure to make Barefoot Landing a part of your Summer Vacation Agenda.
