Ring in New Year 2018 on the Grand Strand

Celebrate New Year’s Eve at the beach this year with countless options to choose from.  Many venues are having New Year’s Eve celebrations such as nightclubs, restaurants, hotels, bowling alleys, aquariums, the boat casino, campgrounds and many more.  We are going to list just a few of your options below, so you can get a quick preview of some of the great parties that will be taking place from Murrells Inlet to Little River, South Carolina.

710 North Myrtle Beach Bowling located at 1105 Hwy 17 South, North Myrtle Beach will be hosting two options as a New Year’s Eve Party.  From 5:00 – 9:00 p.m. guests will be offered a full prime rib dinner buffet, unlimited bowling, one beer or soda tower.  From 10:00 p.m. until 2 p.m., there is another option for those 21 and above.  This option includes unlimited bowling, a full breakfast buffet at 12:30, a champagne toast and a broadcast of the Times Square ball drop.

Beach Colony Resort Myrtle Beach located at 5308 N Ocean Boulevard, Myrtle Beach, South Carolina will have a New Year’s Eve Gala featuring live entertainment from a DJ, party favors and a champagne toast at midnight.  There will be heavy hors d’oeuvres which include oysters Rockefeller, assorted charcuterie, shrimp croquette, duck confit tarlets with citrus slaw, chicken francaise, ratatouille, and more along with a cash bar.

Beach Cove Resort North Myrtle Beach located at 4800 S Ocean Boulevard, North Myrtle Beach, South Carolina is offering a New Year’s Eve package which includes oceanfront one-bedroom accommodations, a plated dinner at Tradewinds Cafe, entry to the party at Town Center, a New Year’s Day breakfast buffet, and a 1 p.m. late check out.

Breakers Resort Myrtle Beach located at 21st and 27th Avenues N, Myrtle Beach, South Carolina will be hosting a New Year’s Eve Bash in the Strong Waters Bar and offering two different packages.  One package will be a 5-course dinner with a cash bar, and one will include the 5-course dinner, hors d’oeuvres, a champagne toast at midnight, party favors, and an open bar.

Broadway at the Beach located at 1325 Celebrity Circle, Myrtle Beach, South Carolina will celebrate New Year’s Eve with fireworks over Lake Broadway at 8:00 p.m.

Broadway Louie’s located at 1320 Celebrity Square Circle CS-6, Myrtle Beach, South Carolina will be hosting a New Year’s Eve party from 6 p.m. until 2 a.m.

Brookgreen Gardens located at 1931 Brookgreen Drive, Murrells Inlet, South Carolina will have a Garden by Candlelight Pre-Party from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.—Advance reservations are required.  The sculpture garden is illuminated by candlelight featuring hand-lit candles, holiday lights and décor, along with strolling musicians.

Captain’s Quarters Resort Myrtle Beach’s Loco Gecko Beach Shack located 901 S Ocean Boulevard, Myrtle Beach, South Carolina will host a New Year’s Eve party from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m. with New Year’s Eve party favors, a champagne toast, live DJ, balloon drop, hors d’oeuvres and one drink voucher.  Captain’s Quarters also will be offering Salty’s New Year’s Eve party for Kids from 8:00 p.m. to 1:30 p.m.  It will include drinks, snacks, movies, games, a fizzy toast at midnight, a balloon drop, and more for kids 5-12 years of age.

The Caravelle Resort Myrtle Beach located at 6900 N Ocean Boulevard will offer a New Year’s Eve Gala which includes cocktail hour, hors d’oeuvres, plated dinner and a good time.  Reservations are required.

Comedy Cabana located at 9588 N Kings Hwy, Myrtle Beach, South Carolina hosts two Myrtle Beach New Year’s Eve parties at 7:30 p.m. and 10:00 p.m.  There will be party favors, toasts and lots of laughs with Jim Dailakis and other renowned comedians.

Embassy Suites Myrtle Beach Oceanfront Resort at Kingston Resorts located at 9800 Queensway Boulevard will be serving a New Year’s Eve dinner from 5:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. in Vintage Twelve.  It will be a four-course dinner with a champagne toast.

Greg Norman’s Australian Grille located at 4930 Highway 17 S, North Myrtle Beach, South Carolina at Barefoot Landing will be an evening of fine dining and live music from 9:00 p.m. to 1:00 a.m.  There will be party favors and a champagne toast at midnight.  Dinner specials include cream of lobster soup; a mixed green salad with grilled pear, candied bacon, goat cheese and smoked ham; pan-seared and butter-poached grouper served over lump crab risotto; ribeye; surf and turf and a lemon Bavarian cake for dessert. Menu is subject to change.

Hard Rock Café located at 1318 Celebrity Circle, Myrtle Beach, SC will be hosting a New Year’s Eve Bash starting at various times depending on your package.  General admission starts at 9:45 p.m. and includes party favors, a balloon drop, confetti cannon, a simulcast from Times Square, live entertainment, and a free appetizer buffet at 11:00 p.m.  The Silver Reserved package begins at 9:00 p.m. and includes a booth or high-top table which is shared seating as well as a shared appetizer for two.   The VIP Gold package begins at 7:30 p.m. and includes VIP service, gifts, champagne for two and a four-course dinner.

Hilton Myrtle Beach Oceanfront located at 10000 Beach Club Drive, Myrtle Beach, South Carolina will be hosting a New Year’s Eve dinner in Café Amalfi from 5:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m. and will be open until midnight.  It will be a five-course dinner with jazz entertainment from Leo Slover and free valet parking.

House of Blues’ New Year’s Eve Party  located at 4640 Hwy 17 S, N Myrtle Beach, SC, North Myrtle Beach, South Carolina features a four-course dinner and a dance party that will keep you dancing through midnight.  The House of Blues will also host Corey Smith as the Americana singer brings his songs to the beach.

Landmark Resort Myrtle Beach located at 1501 S Ocean Boulevard, Myrtle Beach, South Carolina will host a New Year’s Eve dinner in Latitudes Bar & Grill from 5:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m.  It will feature Roasted Chicken Piccata served over buttermilk mashed potatoes & herb roasted onions or Prime Rib served over garlic mashed potatoes, steamed broccoli & red wine jus. All entrees will be served with a house salad and chef’s choice of dessert.

Legends in Concert located at 2925 Hollywood Drive, Myrtle Beach, South Carolina will be hosting a special show starting at 10:00 p.m. to help you celebrate your New Year.

The Market Common located at 4017 Deville Street, Myrtle Beach, South Carolina presents the Third Annual Southern Times Square from 7:00 p.m. to 1:00 a.m.  There will be a live feed of the New York City Times Square event, two live bands, two beer gardens and street entertainment such as mimes, glass blowers, face painters, human statues, glitter tattoos, and dancing.  A ball drop will welcome in the New Year at midnight.

Medieval Times located at 2904 Fantasy Way, Myrtle Beach, South Carolina will have a 9:30 p.m. show dinner and a show with a New Year’s Eve twist.  There will be a champagne toast as well as a balloon drop at midnight as you do your midnight countdown with the Knights of the Realm.  The event includes hors d’oeuvres, a tour of the medieval museum of torture, a live show, delicious four-course feast, free party favors, and a DJ dance party.

Myrtle Beach Bowling located at 101 Philip Gray Drive, Myrtle Beach, South Carolina will be celebrating an early event on New Year’s Eve from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. which includes glow-n-bowl, shoes, countdown to noon, party favors, and sparkling cider for people of all ages.

New Year’s Eve at Big M Casino located at 4491 Mineola Avenue, Little River, South Carolina offers a scenic cruise from 6:30 p.m. to 12:30 a.m.  There will be hors d’oeuvres, a full dinner buffet, a free champagne toast at midnight, a live DJ, a cash bar and gambling.

North Beach Plantation Myrtle Beach located at 100 North Beach Boulevard, North Myrtle Beach, South Carolina will be hosting a New Year’s Eve celebration at 21 Main from 8 p.m. until 1 a.m. with live entertainment from Special Bend.  The event will include a premium open bar, cocktail hour, a champagne toast at midnight, and a dinner with shrimp cocktail, Caesar salad, Surf & Turf (lobster tail & filet mignon) and the chef’s dessert selection.

Ocean Lakes Campground located at 6001 South Kings Highway, Myrtle Beach, South Carolina will have its 17th Annual Polar Bear Plunge at 3:00 p.m.  The Pre-Plunge party starts at 1:30 p.m. by the Observation Deck.  DJ Banana Jack will be playing music and you can get a snapshot with the polar bear mascot.  To be an official “Polar Bear” and earn the T-shirt you MUST go all the way under the water and your hair must get wet—not just damp, but soaking wet!  This is only open to guests staying in the campground or to owners.

Rip Tydz Oceanfront Bar and Grill located at 1204 North Ocean Boulevard, Myrtle Beach, South Carolina will be hosting their first New Year’s Eve party beginning at 8:30 p.m.  It will feature live music from DJ Johnny and We Luv 2 Funk, a four-course dinner buffet, an open bar, a champagne toast at midnight and a live feed of the Times Square ball drop.

Ripley’s Aquarium located at 1110 Celebrity Circle, Myrtle Beach, South Carolina will be hosting the annual Kids-Only New Year’s Eve Sleepover on December 31, 2017.  Drop off the kids off beginning at 8:00 p.m. and enjoy your evening out.
