Hello
again! We are back to introduce you to
another new agent that has joined our Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate
Elliott Coastal Living team, Travis Corriher.
Travis grew up in Mooresville, North Carolina. He attended Mooresville
High School and was a member of the golf team.
Travis’ father was in the Construction Industry and his mother worked at
the University of North Carolina at Charlotte.
After high
school, Travis attended UNC Charlotte, majoring in political science. After Travis graduated from college, he took
a very exciting job traveling all over the United States and Canada with the Harlem
Globetrotters as their photographer.
Eventually,
Travis decided it was time to make Myrtle Beach his permanent home after a
career of traveling for four or five months out of the year. Although he no longer takes pictures for the
Globetrotters, he still enjoys photography as a hobby.
In need of a
new career path, Travis decided to get his real estate license and join the
Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate Elliott Coastal Living Team. Let’s see how Travis feel about his new
business.
Q: Travis, there are many real estate agencies
located in North Myrtle Beach, Myrtle Beach, and along the Grand Strand, but
you chose Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate Elliott Coastal Living. Why?
A: I chose this company because the brand
represents a lifestyle. It goes above
just investing in real estate into the lifestyle of living at the beach.
Q: How will you market yourself to a potential
client that causes them to choose you as their agent?
A: I will use the marketing resources provided
by Better Homes and Gardens as well as Facebook.
Q: What assets do you have that will contribute
to your success as a beach real estate agent?
A: Since my father was in construction, I grew
up around the industry. I know what to
look for, pros and cons, when searching for a property. This will be an asset to my clients when
helping them find a quality home.
Q: Now that you are a North Myrtle Beach Real
Estate Agent, what do you like best about the job?
A: I like the independence as well as being able
to assist my clients with their real estate needs.
Q: As a real estate agent at Better Homes and
Gardens Real Estate Elliott Coastal Living in the Myrtle Beach area, you will
not have set office hours, so you have to be self motivated. What motivates you?
A: My primary motivation is being able to help
my clients as well as being able to help my friends and family fulfill their
real estate dreams.
Q: When you list a house for a client in the
Myrtle Beach area, what means of marketing will you use to reach other realtors
and potential clients?
A: I will utilize all of the tools available to
me through the Better Homes and Gardens website, the MLS, and Facebook.
Q: How will you create your client base as a
Myrtle Beach Real Estate Agent?
A: I plan to start with locals in the
neighborhood as well as friends from the town I grew up in. I have also made many acquaintances in my
prior career that I will access as my personal sphere of influence.
Q: What do you think will be the most rewarding
aspect of your job as a real estate agent for Better Homes and Gardens Real
Estate Elliott Coastal Living in Myrtle Beach ?
A: The most rewarding aspect of my job will be
helping first-time home buyers.
