Hello again! We have been blessed to steadily grow our team, and we are back to introduce you to our most recent North Myrtle Beach agent, Karen Page. Karen is originally from Savannah, Georgia, and her grandfather was a Building Contractor. So, from an early age, Karen spent a lot of time around the construction business, learning all she could.
When she got older, Karen and her sister built several houses together for resale. When the economy bottomed out, she began acquiring foreclosures and flipping them. She did most of the demolition and reconstruction herself, learning a great deal about the details as to how a home should be built, as well as financing, quality building materials and curb appeal of course.
Karen does take time to indulge in her hobbies. She loves to cook and bake. She is an artist as well, and her medium is acrylic paint. She does paint pictures, but she also likes to find interesting pieces of furniture at flea markets and turn them into found treasures by painting whimsical animals on them creating pieces that have their own style and personality. For example, using a stick or piece of wood to paint a cute, playful snake on it. This certainly sounds interesting.
Karen has been a beach real estate agent with Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate Elliott Coastal Living for a couple of month now. Let’s find out how she feels about her budding business.
