Hello! We are back to introduce you to another new beach real estate agent with Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate Elliott Coastal Living in North Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, Don Hall. Don grew up moving from place to place as a part of a military family. His father was a fighter pilot in the Air Force, who defended our country during World War II, in Korea and in Vietnam.
After high school, Don joined the Navy. When he finished his tour of duty, he began working for the Boys & Girls Club of Whatcom County in Bellingham, Washington. While working with this organization, he attended Western Washington University and earned his degree in Education and Human Services. This was a perfect major since he spent the next 35 years working with various youth development agencies throughout the United States.
Don has several hobbies—real estate investing, home improvement, and golfing. He is an avid golfer which was also beneficial to him when he worked with The First Tee of Brunswick County in North Carolina. The First Tee uses the game of golf to teach youth values and life skills. It seems that all of his hobbies have related to his choices for employment, because he has now become a real estate agent, so his other hobbies of real estate investing and home improvement have given him a lot of first-hand knowledge that he can use now that he is a beach real estate agent. Let’s see how Don is feeling about his budding real estate business.
Q: Don, there are many real estate agencies located in North Myrtle Beach, Myrtle Beach, and along the Grand Strand, but you chose Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate Elliott Coastal Living. Why?
A: I chose BHGRE because it has a great culture and a great reputation. It is big enough to get the job done, but not so big that the client is just a number. Also, the brand Better Homes and Gardens is synonymous with quality. It seems like a great fit for me.

Q: When you list a house for a client in the Myrtle Beach area, what means of marketing will you use to reach other realtors and potential clients?
A: There is an entire suite of tools available through Better Homes and Gardens which I plan to utilize to the maximum for my clients. Social media will also be a great way to promote listings. I plan to build my sphere of influence to include other agents and those interested in buying and selling real estate in the area.
