Meet Our New Realtor® – Dita Sartain

Hello!  We are back to introduce you to another new agent in the ever-expanding company of Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate Elliott Coastal Living in North Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.  Dita Sartain grew up in Vienna, Virginia, a small town outside of Washington, DC.  During high school, she excelled in dance and choir and went on the attend Oklahoma City University, majoring in Dance.

After college, Dita moved to the Myrtle Beach area and became a dancer at the Alabama Theatre in North Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.  She has been a dancer at the theatre for three years, which must make her mother very proud, because her mother was also a dancer.  Her mother is now an dance instructor at the Washington Ballet and also owns her own studio.  Dita’s dad is a Lead Technologist for a company outside of DC hired to run contracts, some with the Department of Homeland Security.

Although Dita met her husband in college, they just got married last May, making her a newlywed. She also enjoys Do-It-Yourself projects, restoring furniture, fixing things and crafts.  That is one of the reasons that she was attracted to a career as a beach real estate agent.  Let’s find out how Dita feels about her budding real estate business.

Q:  Dita, there are many real estate agencies located in North Myrtle Beach, Myrtle Beach, and along the Grand Strand, but you chose Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate Elliott Coastal Living.  Why?

A:  The Better Homes and Gardens brand is associated with good quality, and the firm appears to be family oriented.  Everyone is friendly and helpful, making me feel like it is a workplace environment that I want to be a part of.

Q:  How will you market yourself to a potential client that causes them to choose you as their agent?

A:  I am honest, trustworthy, diligent and will work hard for my clients.  I am also transparent and will keep them informed every step of the way, so they will feel confident about the decisions that they make during the process of buying or selling Myrtle Beach Real Estate.

Q:  What assets do you have that will contribute to your success as a beach real estate agent to?

A:  I love viewing homes, interior design and decorating, and I feel that I will be able to help my clients envision the potential space, seeing themselves in the home the way they would want it decorated if they want to make any changes.

Q:  Now that you are a North Myrtle Beach Real Estate Agent, what do you like best about the job?

A:  I really like meeting and getting to know new people.  Becoming familiar with the clients’ wants and needs when buying a home will give me better insight into exactly what they are looking for in their investment and feel confident about buying it.

Q:  As a real estate agent at Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate Elliott Coastal Living in the Myrtle Beach area, you will not have set office hours, so you have to be self motivated.  What motivates you?

A:  My “To Do” list motivates me.  I always brainstorm about what I need and want to get done in a day, and make a list.  I really enjoy seeing my tasks get checked off.  I also have a drive to be successful which gives me the incentive to get the things that need to be done accomplished.

Q:  When you list a house for a client in the Myrtle Beach area, what means of marketing will you use to reach other realtors and potential clients?

A:  I will use social media extensively, because many people start their search online before they ever contact a real estate agent.  I will also do mail outs, open houses and use the MLS to reach potential clients and other real estate agents.

Q:  How will you create your client base as a Myrtle Beach Real Estate Agent?

A:  As a new agent, I will reach out to a lot of potential clients through telephone calls, social media, and postcards as well as my own personal acquaintances.  I will also work at the Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate Elliott Coastal Living office a couple of times a week, taking phone calls from potential clients that are interested in buying Myrtle Beach Real Estate.

Q:  What do you think will be the most rewarding aspect of your job as a real estate agent for Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate Elliott Coastal Living in Myrtle Beach?

A:  The best part of the job will be helping people find the perfect home they are looking for, and if it is not perfect, helping them envision perfection.  That will be really exciting for me, and I will enjoy seeing the smiles on their faces when they find their dream home.
