Meet Our New Realtor®—Tracey Penland

It is always an honor when we at Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate Elliott Coastal Living have the privilege of welcoming a new realtor® into our fold. Today, it is with great pride that we introduce the people of the Grand Strand to our newest realtor®: Tracey Penland.

Early Life

A native of Lenoir, NC, Tracey’s first experience with the Grand Strand came from extended family vacations in Myrtle Beach. During his entrance interview, Tracey said, “[Growing up] Myrtle Beach was always something of a second home. This was where my parents brought us when I was young to play, relax, and draw closer as a family.”

It’s no wonder then that, when Tracey started a family of his own, he continued the tradition of spending summers on the Grand Strand. Whether serving as an officer in the United States Army, working as a contractor in Iraq, or working as a police officer in the Arizona desert, Tracey always returned to the Grand Strand: his adopted home.  

Now, as realtor® with BHGRE Elliott Coastal Living, Tracey is thrilled to be able to welcome newcomers to his beloved coastal community and to help them find their dream home along the Carolina coast.

Tracey’s Strengths  

By far, Tracey’s greatest strength as a realtor® stems from his unbridled enthusiasm and boundless passion. Tracey is so much more than just a resident of the Grand Strand: he is an advocate for the coastal lifestyle. He is a licensed scuba instructor, an avid surfer, and a former lifeguard.

Tracey said, “When you serve as an officer in the U.S. Army, the word “home” takes on a special meaning. It becomes more than just a building or a town: it becomes an ideal, a way of life, a motivation that keeps you going when all else fails. So, when I tell people that the Grand Strand is my home, they know just how much I genuinely care about this community.”

Tracey also said, “My passion—coupled with my veteran’s sense of integrity, loyalty, and competitive drive—make me an invaluable resource and asset for any prospective client’s homebuying search. If there is a client who wants something, I’m going to make it happen for them, no matter what.”
