Meet Our New New Realtor®- Tara Gurry

The Better Homes and Garden Real Estate Elliott Coastal Living is growing and has a new friendly face on the team! We are pleased to introduce you to our newest team member: Tara Gurry.

Early Life

Tara Gurry grew up near Boston in Winchester, Massachusetts. She graduated from the University of South Carolina with a B.A. in Media Arts and became a professional photographer. She owns her own business, Tara Photography, in North Myrtle Beach and loves capturing life-changing moments from weddings and family beach portraits to maternity and senior photographs. Of course, Tara also takes real estate photos. Tara’s interests expand further to health and fitness. As a yoga instructor, Tara once owned her own yoga studio and currently teaches Beach Yoga.

She became interested in real estate early on because her parents were successful in real estate, from the homes they lived into condo and duplex investments. Her mother has especially had an astounding real estate career, having been a realtor in the Grand Strand for over 35 years. Tara chose to settle in the Grand Strand for a few reasons. Not only are there beautiful beaches but several establishments, amenities, and golf courses. South Carolina also has magnificent mountains that are less than five hours away.

Strengths

Tara’s empathetic nature and problem-solving skills set her apart. Instead of focusing on problems, she chooses to seek solutions while keeping her clients’ best interests in mind. Being empathetic is a strength because Tara can truly connect with her clients and their desires. When asked what her favorite part is of being a real estate agent, Tara replied, “Making my client’s real estate dreams come true and doing it as simply and seamlessly as possible”. Certainly, Tara doesn’t give up and says she is “intrinsically motivated to be the best she can be every day”. Lucky for BHGRE, a friend recommended us to her. She was so impressed that she decided to become part of the team! As the newest real estate agent at Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate Elliott Coastal Living, she is looking forward to everyday positive interactions with colleagues and clients and making things happen. As Tara puts it… “what could be better than that?”
