Hello again! Today, we are introducing you to one of our newest, young agents, Nicole Behr, who is getting off to a great start as a beach real estate agent for Better Homes and Gardens real estate Elliott Coastal Living in North Myrtle Beach. Nicole is currently working with Elliott Beach Rentals, as well as, beginning her new business as a North Myrtle Beach real estate agent. What a great combination of skills for Nicole to have when helping her clients buy or sell Myrtle Beach real estate. These assets will give her the knowledge necessary to help her clients choose a property that has great rental value if they are looking for an investment. She is also very familiar with the culture of the various locations of Myrtle Beach real estate for sale for the clients that are seeking a new home in Myrtle Beach.
Nicole grew up in the small town of Tabor City, North Carolina, which is approximately 30 miles northwest of North Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. She attended South Columbus High School where she played tennis and was on the dance team. After graduation, Nicole attended Brunswick Community College obtaining a degree in Biotechnology.
Nicole also has several hobbies that she enjoys in her spare time. She loves to crochet and read. She enjoys using Yoga moves to relax after a hectic day at the rental office in North Myrtle Beach renting oceanfront condos, oceanfront houses and beach houses for sale as well as rent.
Nicole has been very busy lately. She got married in February, just obtained her real estate license, is working full-time at Elliott Beach Rentals and starting her new beach real estate business in the Myrtle Beach area. Let’s see how Nicole feels the opening of her new business is going.
Q: Nicole, there are many real estate agencies located in North Myrtle Beach, Myrtle Beach, and along the Grand Strand, but you chose BHGRE. Why?
A: I have been working for Elliott Beach Rentals for five years and the company contains so many professional individuals. I am so happy to be a part of such a great and reputable company.
Q: How will you market yourself to a potential client that causes them to choose you as their agent?
A: For buyers I will be able to share with them my knowledge of the Myrtle Beach area, since I am native to the area. If the buyer is looking to buy an investment property, such as a Myrtle Beach oceanfront condo for sale or a North Myrtle Beach house for sale, I will be able to provide them with the tools they will need to place their assets for rental. For sellers, I will be able to not only list their Myrtle Beach real estate but market it by holding open houses and sending out information to target individuals who are looking to purchase the particular home that the homeowner is wishing to list in the Myrtle Beach area.
Q: What assets do you have that will contribute to your success as a beach real estate agent to?
A: Due to my experience working in the rental portion of the business, I have the knowledge of the Myrtle Beach area locations as well as the market value of beach properties for sale along the Grand Strand.
Q: Now that you are a North Myrtle Beach real estate agent, what do you like best about the job?
A: The best part about the job is meeting new people and being able to help them make one of the biggest decisions of their life. Whether someone is selling or buying a North Myrtle Beach property, it is a very stressful endeavor. As a beach real estate agent, I will make sure that I provide them with the knowledge and comfort that they will need to make the situation as calm and easy as possible. The more facts I can provide, the less intimidating the purchase or sale of the Myrtle Beach real estate will be.
Q: As a beach real estate agent at Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate Elliott Coastal Living in the Myrtle Beach area, you will not have set office hours, so you have to be self motivated. What motivates you?
A: My family will be the most motivating part of this job. My husband is extremely supportive of my career decisions. I also want to start a family, and it will be nice to be able to make my own hours in order to be able to spend time with my family.
Q: When you list a house for a client in the Myrtle Beach area, what means of marketing will you use to reach other realtors and potential clients?
A: I will be using my phone the most of all. Open houses are also going to be effective. I will be able to send out flyers to different neighborhoods in the Myrtle Beach area to provide traffic for the open house. I will also use the MLS, which is a Multiple Listing System, that will reach all the realtors and clients that are looking to buy Myrtle Beach real estate for sale.
Q: How will you create your client base as a Myrtle Beach real estate agent?
A: I will go to various events hosted by the real estate commission as well as holding open houses in the Myrtle Beach area. I also have an advantage of the client base due to my full-time position at the rental company in North Myrtle Beach. There are many Myrtle Beach renters, homeowners and vendors that I network with that will be able to help me obtain a client base.
Q: What do you think will be the most rewarding aspect of your job as a real estate agent for Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate Elliott Coastal Living in Myrtle Beach?
A: The most rewarding aspect of my job will be knowing that I was able to help my clients purchase their dream home in North Myrtle Beach or sell one of their biggest investments in the Myrtle Beach area. Also, I will enjoy knowing that I made their buying and selling experience in the Myrtle Beach area the best that I possibly could. In doing so, I hopefully will be creating a client for life who will return to me for all their future Myrtle Beach real estate needs or refer me to their friends who are looking for Myrtle Beach real estate for sale.
