Meet Lynne Bryant
Hello again. We are back to introduce you to one of our Better Homes and Gardens Elliott Coastal Living Real Estate Agents in North Myrtle Beach, Lynne Bryant. Lynne has been a beach real estate agent since 2004, and she has a great deal of experience selling Myrtle Beach Real Estate—Oceanfront condos, Cherry Grove channel houses, beach houses and other beach real estate and residential properties in both South Carolina and North Carolina.
Lynne grew up on a farm just across the South Carolina state line in Columbus County, North Carolina, which is approximately 30 miles north of North Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. Lynne’s father was a mechanic and a farmer, and her mother was a textile worker for more than 50 years until she retired.
Lynne attended Nakina High School in North Carolina where she was a cheerleader. She also met her husband in elementary school, became sweethearts through high school, and they were married when they graduated from high school. Lynne and her husband farmed in the spring and summer, and her husband worked with his dad building homes in the fall and winter.
In 1978, Lynne and her husband began to purchase and sell real estate in North and South Carolina. In 1982, they formed their own company and have been building and selling homes in the Cherry Grove area of North Myrtle Beach for more than 35 years.
Lynne and her husband, Lloyd, had two children: Rocky and Tracy. They are all part of three generations of construction, buying and selling real estate. Lynne’s father-in-law, husband, and son have all contributed a lot of work toward the residential development in North Myrtle Beach and other areas. Lynne and her daughter, Tracy Bryant-Ray, are licensed real estate agents working together with Better Homes and Gardens Elliott Coastal Living in North Myrtle Beach to assist others who wish to buy, sell, or just learn more about the beach real estate for sale in North Myrtle Beach as well as the other areas where they are licensed to sell real estate.
Lynne has five grandchildren: A grandson, Wesley, who is a high school senior this year and will be attending Pfeiffer College in the fall to further develop his golfing skills. Roxanna, a granddaughter, attends South Columbus High School where she is active on the volleyball and track team. She also has 9-year-old twin grandsons, Bryant and McKinley, who are active in football, baseball, soccer, and on the North Myrtle Beach swim team. Her step-granddaughter, Jaclyn, graduated from Eastern Carolina University, and is working in Loris, South Carolina.
Lynne is very proud of her family. Her favorite pastime is devoting as much time as possible to her family whether it is attending any of the sporting events they participate in or cooking a meal for everyone. She loves having her whole family together. Lynne is also passionate about her Better Homes and Gardens Elliott Coastal Living Real Estate business. Let’s find out how Lynne turned her beach real estate business into a successful endeavor.
Q: Lynne, how long have you been a real estate agent?
A: In 2004, I decided it was time to make it official and assist others to buy and sell real estate in addition to our buying and selling our own real estate. I received my real estate license as a Real Estate Broker in North Carolina in 2004 and began working with Elliott Realty in Cherry Grove in 2006.
Q: There are many real estate agencies located in North Myrtle Beach, Myrtle Beach, and along the Grand Strand, but you chose BHGRE. Why?
A: Our construction business has been busy in the Cherry Grove area of North Myrtle Beach since the late 70’s. Through the years, we have had many transactions with multiple real estate agencies in the area. Elliott Realty seemed to be the largest in the Cherry Grove area and offered sales and rentals. Senator Dick Elliott and his son, Rick Elliott, both welcomed me to their company.
Q: How do you market yourself to a potential client that causes them to choose you as their agent?
A: I have lived within 30 minutes of the Grand Strand all my life and have been buying and selling real estate in the area since the late 70’s. Working with buyers, I can answer most any question they have. If I can’t, I know the person to ask to get the right answer. Working with sellers, I have an extensive client data base to assist in getting their property sold. If a client just has questions concerning the area, construction questions, or general questions, I have the ability to give reliable answers.
Q: What do you attribute your success as a beach real estate agent to?
A: I attribute my success in life to my belief and faith in my lord and savior, Jesus Christ. I have truly been blessed. I admit, being a part of a family of three licensed contractors has kept me busy. Having been in the business for more than 35 years, working with people honestly, and treating others as I would want to be treated is a major part of my success.
Q: As a North Myrtle Beach real estate agent, what do you like best about the job?
A: I like to feel I have helped someone. To help people reach their goals is a satisfying accomplishment. Whether it is finding them a new place to call home, a vacation spot they love for their family, or an investment property to gain income, I like knowing that I have helped them to find the property they desire at the price they want to pay or to know that I have assisted a seller to present, market, and sell their property for the best price they could receive. Being friends with all my clients at the end of the real estate transaction is very important to me.
Q: Being a real estate agent in Myrtle Beach is very competitive, what do you do that has earned you the description “one of the best” real estate agents in the Myrtle Beach area?
A: In all honesty, I just do what I feel is important for each situation. I have been told many times that I have gone beyond the call of duty, but that is what it takes sometimes to accomplish my goals.
Q: As a real estate agent at Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate Elliott Coastal Living in the Myrtle Beach area, you do not have set office hours, so you have to be self motivated. What motivates you?
A: As I said before, I like to help people. When my phone rings, I receive an email or a text message, I do my best to attend to each one in a timely manner. It doesn’t matter if I am working with a buyer or a seller or if their transaction involves hundreds, thousands, or millions of dollars, I am motivated to help them achieve their goal.
Q: When you list a house for a client in the Myrtle Beach area, what means of marketing do you find most valuable in reaching other realtors and potential clients?
A: The internet is our best means of marketing property today, however, word of mouth from previous clients has certainly kept me busy over the years and still is.
Q: You seem to have a very good client base in the Myrtle Beach area. How did you create it?
A: My client base has been building for quite a long time now. I also strive to make sure my clients have the best possible beach real estate experience, so they will be satisfied with my services. Satisfied clients return or recommend you as a beach real estate agent when their friends need my services.
Q: What do you find most rewarding about your job as a real estate agent for Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate Elliott Coastal Living in Myrtle Beach?
A: It is great to tell clients about our affiliation with such a large and nationally recognized household name.
