MEET ADRIANNA GRACE DERRICK, NORTH MYRTLE BEACH REAL ESTATE AGENT

Today, I would like to introduce you to our newest agent, Adrianna Grace Derrick.  Adrianna was born and raised in North Myrtle Beach, South Carolina with one younger brother.  Her mother owned and operated her own dance studio. Adrianna’s father was Broker-in-Charge of Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate Elliott Coastal Living for 35 years in North Myrtle Beach, although the North Myrtle Beach real estate office was not a part of the Better Homes and Gardens franchise during the entire 35 years.  He was also a beach real estate agent selling beautiful Myrtle Beach real estate.

Adrianna attended the Academy of Arts, Science and Technology, in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina while in high school and graduated with a degree in pre-medical.  After high school, she attended Coastal Carolina University which is approximately 10 miles outside of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.  She received a Bachelor of Arts in Interdisciplinary Studies with a concentration on Promotional Sales and Medical Marketing.

After Adrianna graduated from college, she moved from North Myrtle Beach, South Carolina to Charleston, South Carolina and began her career in the corporate world as a Regional Marketing Manager.  Unfortunately, her father passed, and she was named executor of his estate.   With this new responsibility, Adrianna needed to spend more time in North Myrtle Beach, South Carolina to execute her father’s will; therefore, she moved back home.  She also decided to leave the corporate world to follow in her father’s footsteps as a North Myrtle Beach real estate agent with Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate Elliott Coastal Living.  Let’s see how Adrianna’s new career as a beach real estate agent is going.

Q:  There are many North Myrtle Beach real estate agencies here.  Why did you choose BHGRE?

A:  My father was Broker-in-Charge for 35 years, and I have known the Dick Elliott family all my life.  Not only do they seem like family, but they have an excellent reputation for operating an honest, successful company.

Q:  Do you prefer to sell Myrtle Beach oceanfront condos for sale, beach homes for sale, houses for sale in Myrtle Beach or land for sale in Myrtle Beach?

A:  I used to work as a property manager at Elliott Beach Rentals in North Myrtle Beach, and I have considerable knowledge of the oceanfront properties, so, I prefer to sell the oceanfront condos for sale in Myrtle Beach and oceanfront homes for sale in South Carolina.

Q:  As a North Myrtle Beach real estate agent, what do you like best about the job?

A:  I like working with my clients and helping them to have a greater understanding of the buying and selling process of Myrtle Beach real estate.

Q:  As a beach real estate agent at Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate Elliott Coastal Living in North Myrtle Beach, you do not have set office hours, so you must be self-motivated.  What is your motivation?

A:  With my job in the corporate world, I did have set hours, so I am almost programmed to work specific hours.  Of course, money is a great motivator, but my biggest motivator is my father.  I want to make him proud of me and be the best Myrtle Beach real estate agent that I can be.

Q:  When you list North Myrtle Beach homes for sale for a client, what means of marketing do you find most valuable in reaching other Myrtle Beach real estate agents and potential clients?

A:  I use online marketing and social media marketing through various interactive platforms.  I also enjoy hosting open houses.  It gives me a great opportunity to meet new people as well as other agents.

Q:  Although you have only been an agent for six months, I know that you are very ambitious and industrious.  Also, you grew up around the North Myrtle Beach Real Estate business, and it is in your “genes”, so to speak.  How are you creating your client base?

A:  Foremost, I have a large sphere of influence; so, I started there.  I also have a lot of social media contacts and have done a lot of social media marketing.  Although I have only been a beach real estate agent for six months, I have had over 50 open house.  I often conduct multiple open houses during the same day.  That is a great way to add to my client base.

Q:  What do you find most rewarding about your job as a North Myrtle Beach real estate agent for Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate Elliott Coastal Living?

A:  I like being able to connect with my clients and understand exactly what their requirements for their Myrtle Beach real estate purchase are, so I can help them find the perfect beach real estate they are seeking.  I also like making the hard deals close.  My end goal is to have a satisfied client.
