The Holiday Season brings many different traditions to the Grand Strand as well as into your own home. One of the first traditions that we see is the decorating of trees, boats, houses, shopping centers, streets, and towns. The Christmas Shows along the Grand Strand are another favorite holiday tradition for many families as well as the Christmas parades and tree lightings.
Another popular Christmas tradition for families is the
annual visit to Santa as well as Christmas pictures of the family that we might
want to send to family and friends via Christmas cards. It is traditional for many families to play
Christmas music during December, watch Christmas movies, and of course, wrap
and exchange Christmas gifts.
Many of us start our Christmas Eve celebrations with the
Christmas Eve Candle Light service to celebrate Christ’s birth. From there, we move on to our personal
celebrations with friends and family which probably includes the reading of
“Twas the Night Before Christmas” and tucking the children into bed to wait for
Saint Nick to visit. Then it is time for
the family Christmas traditions for adults.
Let’s find out what traditions are celebrated by our Better
Homes and Gardens Real Estate Elliott Coastal Living team…
