We are back to introduce you to Chris Gray, a beach real estate agent that is new to us at Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate Elliott Coastal Living in Pawleys Island, South Carolina where the beach is beautiful and the ambiance of the location is outstanding. Although Chris has recently joined our company, he has been a beach real estate agent for 14 years.
Chris grew up in Greenville, South Carolina, which is approximately 275 miles from our beautiful Myrtle Beach Real Estate. His father was a career Air Force flight engineer and flew all over the world. His mother was a stay-at-home mom until he and his sister got older. Then she went to work as a secretary/bookkeeper.
After Chris graduated from J. L. Mann high School, he attended Brevard College and Central Piedmont Community College. He majored in Fine Arts and Photography which landed him in the film and video production business. He started working for a television station, which led to him owning his own production company for almost 30 years.
He is married and has a daughter and two beautiful grandchildren. He enjoys reading, working in the yard and used to play golf before he suffered a back injury. Now, Chris enjoys selling beach real estate for us. Let’s see how he feels his business is going thus far.
Q: There are many real estate agencies located in North Myrtle Beach, Myrtle Beach, and along the Grand Strand, but you chose Better Homes and Garden Elliott Coastal Living Real Estate in Pawleys Island, South Carolina. Why?
A: I appreciate the brand and the reputation of BHGRE. Also, the tools and resources available are tremendous.
Q: How will you market yourself to a potential client that causes them to choose you as their beach real estate agent?
A: I believe in building relationships with clients. You do that by giving them good advice, anticipating their needs and delivering the goods.
Q: What assets do you have that will contribute to your success as a beach real estate agent in Pawleys Island?
A: I know the South Strand and am familiar with the neighborhoods and developments. I’m eager to combine that knowledge with our company’s business tools to help my clients fulfill their dreams.
Q: Now that you are a South Strand Real Estate Agent, what do you like best about the job?
A: Finding just the right homes for buyers and helping sellers get the best price for their property are just two of my favorite things.
Q: As a beach real estate agent at Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate Elliott Coastal Living in the Myrtle Beach area, you will not have set office hours, so you have to be self-motivated. What motivates you?
A: Providing for my family is a motivation. I also enjoy selling beach real estate in the Myrtle Beach area and Pawleys Island. Real estate is a lot more fun when you’re selling property.
Q: When you list a house for a client in the Myrtle Beach area, what means of marketing will you use to reach other realtors and potential clients?
A: I will be utilizing open houses, postcards, and social media. I will also use any and all of the methods available through the resources of Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate Elliott Coastal Living.
Q: How will you create your client base as a Myrtle Beach Real Estate Agent?
A: Contacts and past clients are always a bonus. Fortunately, I have been in business for a while and have both, but you always have to build on that.
Q: What do you think will be the most rewarding aspect of your job as a real estate agent for Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate Elliott Coastal Living in Myrtle Beach ?
A: Meeting new people and helping them find what they are looking for is always rewarding. I love the hunt!
