17th Annual KidzTime Festival Broadway, February 24, 2018

Come one, come all to the “Big Top” for kid-friendly fun!  From 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 24th, the KidzTime Festival will be held under a huge, heated, circus-style tent at Broadway at the Beach.   Broadway at the beach is located at 1325 Celebrity Circle, Myrtle Beach, South Carolina and the “Big Top” will be in parking lot 15, directly behind Pavilion Park Central (21st Avenue North Side), close to the Broadway at the Beach Guest Services Center.  Admission is free.

Your little ones will be delighted with the interactive activities, inflatables, face painting, sparkly nail painting, balloon artists and spin-to-win wheels.  There will also be bookmark making, stilt walking, pony rides, a petting zoo, and a trackless train ride.

Matt Gittins, morning anchor of WBTW, will emcee the event featuring live performances, prize giveaways and demonstrations throughout the duration of the festival on the stage set up inside the tent.  More than 40 vendors will be showcasing their merchandise at the event, located both inside and outside of the tent.

This year’s live entertainment lineup will feature three performances throughout the day from Mr. Nigel from Charlotte, N.C. Mr. Nigel, who performs every summer at Broadway at the Beach, combines music, dancing and laughter to provide a fun time for the entire family.

From 11:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., D.C. Comics Wonder Woman will make a special visit, with occasional breaks.  There will also be mascot appearances and character appearances for the attendees of the festival to enjoy. If you haven’t had enough fun at the KidzTime Festival, you can indulge in Broadway at the Beach where there is a plethora of things to do.  You can zip line across the lake, play a game of mini-golf, or get lost in a maze made of mirrors.

Broadway at the Beach is a true entertainment center filled will exciting things to do and places to visit such as WonderWorks, Ripley’s Aquarium, and the Backstage Escape Games, to mention a few.  If you are in the mood to shop, there are plenty of one-of-a-kind shops and boutiques along with a host of nationally recognized shopping names on Broadway’s 350-acre property.

Hungry?  No problem.  Broadway at the Beach has more than twenty restaurants serving delicious cuisine as well as a range of light-bite eateries.  If you want to enjoy a night out, Celebrity Square at Broadway at the Beach is a nightlife hot spot.  You can listen to live music, enjoy the dueling pianos, join in the laughter at the comedy club or dance the night away.  You could call it a One-Stop Entertainment Center.
