Welcome 2019 in Grand Strand Style with These New Year’s Eve Festivities!

Escape from the cold, and celebrate New Year’s Eve in a fun, coastal atmosphere, with a subtropical climate and a family friendly environment such as the Myrtle Beach New Year’s Eve 2019. Below is a sampling of the many New Year’s Eve Events that the Grand Strand offers:
Brookgreen Gardens, New Year’s Eve Stroll Under the Lights—Brookgreen Gardens is opening the sculpture garden for a special New Year’s Eve event. The sculpture garden is illuminated by candlelight, and features hand-lit candles, holiday lights, and decor, as well as strolling musicians. The event will be held from 6:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. and advance reservations are required. Tickets are $20 for non-members and $15 for members.
Fun Warehouse, New Year’s Eve All Night Skate—The Fun Warehouse located at 2349 Dick Pond Road, Myrtle Beach, South Carolina is hosting an all-night skate this New Year’s Eve. All night passes are available for $30 and include unlimited skating from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m., basic skate rentals, one game of laser tag, a go-cart race, a slice of pizza and a drink. You’ll also get donuts and a drink the next morning before you head home.
Hard Rock Café New Year’s Eve Celebration, 1318 Celebrity Circle, Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. Guests can choose from several options for their New Year’s Eve experience. Entertainment is by diversity and the festivities include a balloon drop, confetti cannons, party favors, live Times Square Simulcast and an Hor D’oervre buffet at 11:00 p.m. The various options to choose from are:
VIP Gold–$290 per couple which includes taxes and gratuity. You will get personal service and seating on the second-floor mezzanine with a private balcony for viewing the 8:00 p.m. Broadway at the Beach New Year’s Eve fireworks extravaganza. Guests will also enjoy a personalized gold scroll menu for your four-course dinner, chocolates and a champagne split. Doors open at 7:30 p.m.
Reserved Silver–$50 – $60 per person plus tax which includes seating at a shared table and a shared appetizer for two. Doors open at 9:00 p.m.
General Admission—Advance is $35 per person and the day of the event is $40 per person plus tax. Seating is not guaranteed, and the doors open at 9:45.
Comedy Cabana New Year’s Eve Extravaganza, 9588 North Kings Highway, Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. The Comedy Cabana will host two great shows at 7:30 and 10:00 p.m. with party favors, toasts and lots of laughs. This year’s comedians include Chris Barnes, Danny Butler, and Cooter Douglas. The New Year’s Eve Extravaganza Package includes reserved seating, an autographed photo of the comic, a gift certificate for an additional show, party favors, a balloon drop and a champagne toast at the 10:00 p.m. show. Reservations are recommended.
New Year’s Eve Big M Casino Cruise, 4495 Mineola Avenue, Little River, South Carolina—There will be two scenic cruises aboard the Big M Casino Boats New Year’s Eve—Ship I for the general public and Ship II for VIP players. Ship I will begin boarding at 5:30 pm and sails from 6:30 pm to 12:30 am. Guests are treated to hors d’oeuvres, a full dinner buffet, and a free champagne toast at midnight. In addition, live DJ and percussionist, Corey Holden, will be spinning tunes throughout the evening. Two cash bars and gambling games will also be available. The cost is $75 per person which includes your port taxes and fees.
Legends in Concert New Year’s Eve Celebration, 2925 Hollywood Drive, Myrtle Beach, South Carolina—There will be one show at 7:30 p.m. and one show at 10:00 p.m. The late show will feature party favors, a simulcast of the New York times Square ball drop and plenty of fun. Purchase champagne to help ring in the New Year.
A Southern Times Square at The Market Common, 4017 Deville Street, Myrtle Beach, South Carolina—This annual event is from 9:00 p.m. – 12:00 a.m. on New Year’s Eve. It is one of the biggest street parties of the year and The Market Common’s version of the Big Apple’s New Year’s Eve celebration with a live telecast on a jumbo screen, a mirror ball drop at midnight and fireworks. There will be live music by the Painted Man Band throughout the night. Fill up your cups in the beer garden and explore the human statues, mimes, glass blowers, face painters, glitter tattoos and dancing in the streets. They’ll even have inflatables for the kids. Restaurants throughout The Market Common will be open for dinner. Reservations are suggested. Retailers around the complex will offer extended hours. Parking is available in the parking lots, garages, on street and at Crabtree Gym. Admission is free. Large bags and backpacks are not permitted at the event.
Myrtle Beach Bowl New Year’s Eve Celebrations, 1014 Philip Gray Drive, Myrtle Beach, South Carolina– Myrtle Beach Bowl is hosting two fun New Year’s Eve events with unlimited bowling and great specials. The fun kicks off at 11 a.m. with a Noon Year’s Eve Celebration! They’re offering Glow-N-Bowl, shoe rentals, party favors and sparkling cider for just $10 per person. Book your lane today!
Unlimited Glow-N-Bowl will be available from 9:30 p.m. to 12:30 a.m. Enjoy a large one-topping pizza, $5 game card and pitcher of soda plus shoe rentals for $60 a lane for up to 5 bowlers. A non-alcoholic toast will be held at midnight with fun party favors.
House of Blues New Year’s Eve Dinner & Dance, 4640 Highway 17 South, North Myrtle Beach, South Carolina—Ring in the New Year with an evening of dinner and dancing, a delicious four-course dinner and live entertainment by Tru Sol at the House of Blues. Tickets include a four-course dinner, party favors, a champagne toast and BOGO certificates for the Gospel Brunch and the Murder Mystery Dinner Theater as well as a gift certificate for two free tickets to a future show.
New Year’s Eve with Corey Smith— Corey Smith is coming back to the beach to ring in the New Year at House of Blues! The Americana singer has a number of hit songs including Drinkin’ Again, If I Could Do It Again, and I Love Everyone. The show begins at 8:00 p.m.
Noon Year’s Eve, LuLu’s North Myrtle Beach, 4954 Highway 17 South, North Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, December 31, 2018, 10:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.—All ages are welcome. A fun filled day for kids and adults alike. Crafts, kid safe fireworks and games are only the tip of the iceberg. When the clock strikes noon, there will be a huge beach ball drop over LuLu’s Beach. Hundreds of colorful beach balls will flood the beach, but the excitement doesn’t stop there. A live band, face painting, balloon animals and more will be at LuLu’s to start your New Year’s celebration off right.
Dave & Buster’s Family Fun New Year’s Eve Celebration, 1322 Celebrity Circle, Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, December 31, 218, 5:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. Dave & Buster’s is offering an exciting and fun way for you and your family to ring in the New Year. There will be loads of excitement with their New Year’s Eve packages which combines the food and fun. All guests looking to participate in the buffet and receive a power card will need to pre-purchase a ticket. Package descriptions are listed on the website. This event is designed for families.

New Year’s Eve Lock-In 2018! Darts Out, 100 Legends Drive, Unit C, Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, December 31, 2018 – January 1, 2019, 7:00 p.m. – 8:00 a.m. This event is for Elementary and Tweens and the cost is $55 with a $10 sibling discount. The check in is at 7:00 p.m. at the Darts Out facility. The kids will go to the Fun Warehouse from 8:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m. for skating and inflatables. They will be back at Darts Out from 11:00 p.m. – 8:00 a.m. for games, prizes, a dance party, nerf wars, glow in the dark dodgeball and more! Candy Land will be available to purchase snacks. Dinner and breakfast will be served.
New Year’s Eve Sleepover! Ripley’s Aquarium, 1110 Celebrity Circle, Broadway at the Beach, Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, December 21, 2018 – January 1, 2019, 8:00 p.m. – 8:00 a.m. The event is for elementary and tweens and cost $69.99 plus tax per child. Ring in 2019 with Sharks, Rays and Gabby the Sea Turtle. There will be a glow party, crafts, and pizza. There will be a midnight toast to ring in the New Year. Kids will sleep underneath sharks that could be double or even triple their size. Kids will also have breakfast.
